A touch of frost

Winter has come to the Netherlands, yesterday was the first day with temperatures below freezing. I always love the visual effect of frost on plants. So I decided to capture it on camera.

This last shot was not as sharp as I wanted it to be. I ran out without a coat to get a few quick shots so I was trembling quite a bit as you can imagine.

The forecast for the week says it is going to get colder every day. There is talk about ice-skating being possible during the weekend. Maybe even a white christmas, who knows?

Micah in the garden

Introducing Micah! Micah is my sister’s cat and was very busy exploring our garden today.

Micah was a bit shy at first but in the end we had a hard time trying to take him out of the garden.
