Xtreme Drift Big Final 2007
This sunday I went to see the big final of the Xtreme Drift race series. The XD is the drift championship in Belgium and the Netherlands.
The big final was held at circuit “De Peel”, a small oval type track. As a fan of drifting, I must say I was a bit afraid of being disappointed by the cars or drivers skill (or lack thereof).
Despite most of the cars being BMW’s (not a fan of those) I was not disappointed at all, there were some nice cars and the matches were very exciting.
A few R33 Nissan Skylines were present.
One of the racing/presenting Coronel twins was filming a feature for their tv-show.
There were also some demo runs by European top drifters.

Winner of the day was Kees Kok in a red and white BMW M3.
2nd place and this years title was taken by Remmo Niezen in an orange BMW M3.
3rd place was taken by Vernon Zwaneveld in his Toyota AE86.
