Protocast clear indicator lenses

A while ago I decided to change the indicators on the front bumper of the Celica. This meant removing the old amber-colored lenses and replacing them with new clear lenses. As my Celica is from the 6th generation before the facelift there are no retail replacement options for clear indicator lenses. Through 6gc.net I contacted wolfie308 from Protocastin the UK, where they make clear lenses cast from the original lenses. I recieved the new lenses soon after.

The new lenses and amber bulbs. Great quality casts by Protocast.

Original lens removed, I did this by heating the mastic (the sticky black stuff) using a hobby heatgun.

Lenses attached to the housing. The lens should be attached while the mastic is still warm and pliable.

Indicators installed, blending into bumper nicely.

This was a quick, easy and not too pricey modification which really modernizes the overall look of the front of the Celica.
