I recently bought this, the Gioteck EX-02 bluetooth headset for PS3. Following is a short unpacking set and a rundown of the contents. I also included a micro-review for those interested in this headset.

Gioteck EX-02 Box

The box with the Gioteck EX-02 PS3 bluetooth headset.

All the bits still in the box.

Gioteck EX-02 unpacking 2

All the bits included in the set.

And all the contents are:
- left ear piece
- USB cable
- charging cradle
- EX-02 headset (comes with right ear piece attached)
- user manual

Verdict:
The Gioteck EX-02 is an excellent set, it costs a bit but it is well within a normal price range.
I don’t know if it can connect to other devices but as it’s made specifically for PS3 it is easy to connect to (or pair with) the PS3.

The sound quality of both the mic and speaker is good, no complaints so far!

The faceplate is replaceable if you don’t like the color, but no replacements are included in the set.
The set is very light, you’ll barely notice it’s there. The earpiece can be switched out to accommodate fitment on either your left or right ear, which is very useful.

How’s the fit of the earpiece? I use the Sony PS3 ear set, though it functions well, it has a tendency to slip off, as it doesnt fit my ear that well.

This EX-02 looks way cooler though!

It does fit quite well, I also have problems with most earpieces but this one is fairly stable. It helps that you can switch from left to right if one ear in particular is problematic. And it does indeed look much better than the set from Sony!

I bought two of your product EX-02s, I connect one of them to the ps3, when I try to connect the second one, I cannot do successfully, I saw in the troubleshoot in the manual, the Bluetooth devices have to be separate at least 30ft or 9.15 meter, two of the same Bluetooth EX-02s cannot be together in the same console?

As I understand, it is only possible to have one headset connected to the same PS3 console at the same time.

This happens when you hold down the power button. If the light alternates from green to blue the headset can be found by, and paired with, your Playstation 3. See the user manual for more details on the pairing process.
